Therapy that works around your life
About online sessions
Online therapy can feel unfamiliar at first, but most people find it becomes as natural as being in a room together, often sooner than they expect.
Working online means no commute, no waiting room, and no need to pull yourself together before stepping back into your day. You can be wherever feels most private and comfortable to you.
What to expect
A free introductory call
1
We start with a free 20-minute call — no commitment required. It's a chance for you to get a sense of me, ask any questions, and see whether working together feels like a good fit. I'll ask a little about what's brought you to therapy and what you're hoping for.
Booking your first session
2
If you'd like to go ahead, we'll agree a regular weekly time that works for both of us. Consistency matters in this kind of work — having the same slot each week helps create the conditions for something real to develop.
Joining the session
3
Sessions take place via Google Meet. You'll receive a link before each session — no account or app download needed, just a stable internet connection and somewhere private to sit. Sessions run for 50 minutes.
How long therapy lasts
4
This varies from person to person. Some people come with a specific thing to work through and find six to twelve sessions enough. Others find longer-term work more useful, particularly if the questions are deeper or longer-standing. We'll review together as we go — nothing is fixed.

Questions people often ask
-
Research consistently shows that online therapy is as effective as in-person for most people and most kinds of work. Some people actually find it easier to open up from their own space. The relationship between therapist and client — which is what matters most — translates well online.
-
That's completely fine — most people feel a little unsure at first about what to say or how it works. There's no right way to do it. We'll find the pace together, and you won't be expected to arrive with anything prepared.
-
Everything you share in sessions is confidential. The only exceptions are the standard ethical ones — if I had serious concerns about your safety or someone else's, I would discuss that with you first wherever possible. Google Meet sessions are not recorded. I'd encourage you to find a private space for sessions where you won't be overheard.
-
It happens occasionally. If we lose connection during a session, I'll call or message you straight away and we'll pick up by phone or reschedule. It's rarely a problem, but it's always worth having your phone nearby just in case.
