About me

A woman with dark brown hair wearing a denim jacket and a yellow shirt posing with arms crossed in front of a yellow door or window frame.

I'm Claire — an advanced trainee psychotherapist based in North London, working online with adults across the UK.

I came to this work through a desire to make sense of my own journey. That experience shapes how I work with people — with curiosity rather than assumption, and genuine interest in what makes each person who they are.

I offer a warm, non-judgmental space, no nonsense, jargon-free, where you can explore what's going on at your pace . My job is to listen, to stay curious, and to help you build a clearer understanding of yourself.

How I work

I have completed four years of academic study and training and have over 250 documented client hours across two clinical placements, including work with Body & Soul, a specialist organisation supporting people affected by severe childhood trauma and suicide prevention.

I work under regular clinical supervision, a requirement of good ethical practice for all therapists, regardless of experience, and hold full UKCP registration.

I work relationally, which means the relationship between us is part of the work itself. I pay attention not just to what you bring, but to what emerges between us, the patterns, the hesitations, the things that are hard to say. Over time, that often reveals something important.

About therapy

Therapy can be a place to slow down and look honestly at the things that keep recurring, the roles you've always played, the relationships that leave you depleted, the sense that you're not quite living as yourself.

Often its not reflection that brings you here, maybe something has happened, a relationship has broken down, work has become unbearable, grief has taken hold in a way that won't shift, or a pattern with alcohol or something else has started to feel out of control. You might just know that something needs to change. Both are good reasons to start.

Areas of focus

I work with identity, relationships, and the experiences that shape both. Whether you're trying to understand yourself more deeply, make sense of patterns that keep recurring, or work through something specific (grief, trauma, anxiety, or the impact of early experiences) I’m here for you.
